How about using refresh button? Does it reload? Also, do the
following:

1) Tools, Internet Options, Advanced {this is the tab on the dialog box}

2) Click Restore Defaults

3) Now scroll down until you reach Security

4) Click on "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is
closed"

5) Click ok

6) Close the browser (may take sometime for the first time because all
temporary files are being deleted)

It sounds like you are viewing cached files. I would definitely start
by
clearing the browser cache. (Tools/Internet Options General Tab /
Delete
files).

Hello and Help ---

* Using XP (home), svc pack 2, w/all updates current. I protect with
Kerio. Grisoft free AVG and use Adaware, A2, and Spybot frequently.

Using Explorer, ver 6, while surfing some news and other URLs, are
always dated Oct 28, 2006.

The date and text content NEVER changes from day to day,

BUT! -- on other news URLs, they are accurately and currently dated.
My
Emails are dated OK.

Even more mysterious is my 'Weather Pulse' software, within the
program,
some weather locations are stuck on Oct 28th, while others are not.

More fascination occurs with FireFox, whose URL locations are NOT
affected by this time phenomena. I prefer using Explorer, but I have
this problem :((.

Any fixes, thoughts?? Thanks in advance.

Chuck ---

HI -- thanks for the response:

All cached files zapped - all my temp directories were scoured. Computer
has been rebooted a few times..

I DELETED the affected files from my Favorites and reinstalled them -->
no
change.

Drat! 'Groundhog Day ' of Oct 28 for the cursed URLs still persists.

Anything else to do?.
Chuck---
