I would be suprised if using System Restore (Start > Accessories > System
Tools) can't help you recover your software assuming you have a restore
point to go back to.

I went to Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>Add or Remove Windows
Components, meaning to delete the Windows Digital Media Enhancements. Due
to
a lack of instructions, I accidentally deleted EVERYTHING in that wizard.
I
managed to reinstall some but not these: "Sonic DVD and CD Burning",
"Internet Information Services", "Management and Monitoring Tools",
"Message
Queing", "MSN Explorer", and "Other Network File and Print Services." Now
I
have no CD driver (or it is corrupted) and I get a C++ error when I start
my
computer. My CD drive is a HP DVD Writer 640b.
Do I have to reinstall Windows? The people at Best Buy installed Windows
for me and I don't have a copy! Please help me.
