i recently reinstalled windows XP PRO on my friends comp. he´s lost
all his driver disks and had a motherboard replaced.
my problem is that there is no sound. the comp says there is no device
to play sound. there is no dedicated sound card on the computer, before
the comp was using onboard sound.
my question is this - is there a generic sound driver for winXP?
something about ac'97??
any help would be greatly appreciated.
