msinfo32 is pretty good with
letting you know if there are conflicts
between hardwares....
there are benchmarking utilities
too. if you use any of these be
sure to create a restore point, since
they really test your system.
PCWizard 2005
might be exactly what you need. but there
are others.

Is there some kind of free utilities whereas I can check onboard things
such as sata controllers to see if they are good or going bad? Thanks
