Something you have running in the background is preventing the
screensaver from starting. Since we know nothing about your computer
except what operating system you're running, there's no way for anyone
here to tell you what that is. The most common culprits in these cases
are wireless keyboards and/or mice because their wireless software
continually polls the system.
