Since you're using OE, you can send the file split up in sizes you want. The recipient will receive the files one at a time, and once they are all received they will combine into a single file with many of the received ones ending up in the Delete folder. You would be best asking about this in an OE ng where they can inform you on any advantages/disadvantages of splitting the files.
To set it up, on the Menu bar click Tools > Accounts.
Click on the account you will use to break up the file to send.
Click Properties > Advanced tab.
Under the section "Sending" click in the box next to "Break apart...." to select it.
Set the max size you want the split files to be, the split files will be one smaller than the size you set. Ex: If you set the break apart larger than 512KB, they will be split into 511KB files when sent.

I would like to know if there is a way to really compress a video file. I made a 7.5 min. clip of a party. File is about 24MB.
I tried to zip it and it barely makes a dent in the size. Seems I can not email anything larger than 20MB. Is there a way to cut this file by maybe 25% or so? File was created w/Windows Movie Maker on XP Pro. sp2. w/Vz. as ISP.
TIA
