Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I love these discussion groups. The amount of information I have
gleaned here is massive and invaluable. But this is all XP.

Can any of you guys recommend a site, as similar to this one as
possible, that allows the posting of questions relating to hardware.
I have a few questions relating to the physical side of my machine
and I don't want to clog these discussions unnecesarily with
irrelevant questions about non-xp issues.

I have recently bought a piece of hardware that I'm not entirely
happy with performance wise and I was wondering about other peoples
ratings of it too. I need some second opinions.

If your interest is in hardware issues under Windows XP, try
microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware.

But note that that is not a "site," but a newsgroup. This "site" is a also a
newgroup, microsoft.public.windowsxp. You may be accessing it via
Microsoft's web-based interface, but that doesn't change the fact that
underneath it's a newsgroup, not a web site.

Also note that accessing newsgroups the way you're doing it is the slowest,
clunkiest, most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch
to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See
