What services have you disabled?
How large is your hard disk and how much free space? If partitioned
please provide details for each partition?

Hope this helps.

All my files are backed-up. Another point - I have disabled several
"services" to free up space and improve speed. In an indirect manner,
these
may contribute to the problem.
Thank you.

Can you back up important data files? Research in Google suggests you
have
a very difficult problem to resolve.

Having read several messages, no one appears to have my problem.
Today,
an
error message regarding C:|$MFT being corrupt popped-up and told me to
run
Chkdsk. I have not been able to get Chkdsk to run in either the cmd
prompt
or My Computer in either Normal Startup or Diagnostic Startup. Also, I
ran
the Western Digital drive diagnostic and there was no errors. Any
assistance
is appreciated.
