Error Copying File Or Folder - Incorrect Function

I recorded some music to my mp3 player via the line input, and now I'm
trying to upload it into a folder. It used to upload files a few weeks ago.
Today, well, I get error messages while it is copying files over.
It copied files L004, L005, L006, L007; but I had deleted files L008, L009
from the device before transferring, and it crapped out while giving me L010
and the like.

Did Windows shut this operation down, or did my mp3 player? The machine gets
nasty hung up when I try to get out of the error.

Maybe it is a function of my turning off the Sync last time in Media Player
10? But I shouldn't be having these kind of problems since it works around
WMP10; but my mp3 players' battery demanded to be recharged via USB 2.0
before it would attempt to try another transfer.
