Those el cheapo prices may be student editions with user
restrictions....stay away! Purchase your software from a reputable
company. Example:

Thank you, Frank and Carey. I will stay away from those prices.
However, since I have XP Home, I guess I can use that as an upgrade for
Vista when I buy it (eventually).

I just wonder (could not find it on the MS website): can one upgrade to
x64? Cheaper?
