RE: Automatic Updates

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hello Bob,

Thank you for using newsgroup!

Based on my knowledge, this Automatic Updates feature do apply to all users
and administrators of computers running Windows XP and Windows 2000 Server
and later. I agree with Anando's opinion. You may logon with administrator
account to check if you have enabled this feature. If the local
administrator has enabled the feature, it will work on all users.

| How can I run as a limited user and still have Windows Automatic Updates
work?
| It seems to me that I MUST log on with an Administrator account so as to
| download and install the updates. Shouldn't the Administrator account do
| this without having to be logged on?
