Hard Drive: 1x 250GB SATA

USB: 4x USB 2.0
Sound Card: 7.1 Channel
Ethernet Adapter: Intel 10/100/100 Gigabit
I have a Vista RC1, XP, Ubuntu Linux 6.06LTS triple-boot system. My Windows
Partitions are:
C:/ - (Windows XP) NTFS 100GB
E:/ - (Windows Vista RC1) NTFS 90GB
F:/ - FAT32 10GB
My Linux partitions are:
/dev/sda6 - Linux installation- ext3 format-35GB
/dev/sda7 - linux-swap 5GB
I wanted to uninstall Ubuntu. So is formatting the 2 linux partitions all I
have to do? Will formatting them remove the GRUB bootloader?
Grub's configuration files are probably located on the Ubuntu partition.
If you delete the linux partition first then you'll destroy those files
and won't be able to boot your system at all. So you need to install the
WIndows bootloader BEFORE wiping the Ubuntu partitions. I'm not familiar
with Vista so I'll leave the details of that to someone else.
Once you're sure you can boot Windows with its own bootloader, just delete
or reformat the Ubuntu partition. I'm not familiar with Vista so it's best
if someone else advises you on a Windows bootloader.
If you need a partition manager for deleting and reformatting the Ubuntu
partition, you can get one here:
http://gparted.sourceforge.net
This is a Linux livecd but boots directly into a GUI and automatically
runs gparted for you.
