Re: WPA (Microsoft Windows Advantage Tool)

This tool is pretty much spyware... Can microsoft be sued? I mean it gets
installed on our computers without our permission, and sends
computer-specific info without our permission back to microsoft. I mean
sure
they made windows, but if it was any other company that did it, it would
be
illegal, wouldnt it? What makes microsoft so special?
WPA is Windows Product Activation. WGA is Windows Genuine Advantage. You
can choose not to install it.
