You gave permission to install it either directly or indirectly depending if
you went to Windows Update and downloaded it or have your settings for
Windows Update at Automatic.
There has been some talk of a suit, but I doubt it will go anywhere because
of the choices you have and made.
Search Google if you are interested in a suit.

This tool is pretty much spyware... Can microsoft be sued? I mean it gets
installed on our computers without our permission, and sends
computer-specific info without our permission back to microsoft. I mean
sure
they made windows, but if it was any other company that did it, it would

illegal, wouldnt it? What makes microsoft so special?
