You won't like my answer but here goes. Clean up your computer. Get a
program called "Adaware" and get rid of the spyware
SLN420: I already run Spyware Doctor, Spyware Sweeper, Adaware, and Spybot,
my PC is clean of Spyware.
Next click on "Start/Run" and type in msconfig. Click on the "Startup tab"
and uncheck anything that you don't need, which is most everything(you will
have to do some googling to determine what to disable" If in doubt,
disable. You can always re-inable later.
SLN420: I am very familar with this process and I have already minimized
what loads on start up.
Next, get rid of your Norton/McAfee antiviur and get a good one. I would
suggest AVG from grisoft.com. It's free.
SLN420: Right now I am running Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition
10.1.1001. From my experience this is a very good anti virus program and I
would rather not have to get rid of using it because I favor it over others.
If there is a way to trouble shoot to see if this is what is causing the
errors please enlighten me.
Update your installation of Windows. Go to www.microsoft.com and click on
"windows update". (I would give you the direct link but the MS jerks won't
allow me because I use Firefox).
SLN420: I do this regulary and I in fact did this today and I have zero
updates that need to be installed.
And the last step: Download Firefox and use it instead of IE. It can be
had at: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
SLN420: I am a web developer, I use Firefox and have been using it for some
years now.
Any further information you can help with will be very appreciated this
error is VERY annoying and crashes everything in my task tray icon when it
happens (which isn't much cept for my Nvidia tray icon that allows me to
expand my desktop to my 2nd monitor for working).
Thanks a ton!
