Ok, what happens when you hit WinKey+R type in CALC and hit enter and then repeat? Do you get several instances of Calculator running?

Please review your keyboard manual / software settings. You need to double check to see if the button is still programmed for the Calculator or not. If it still it programmed, then that button has become "dead'.
