I have XP Pro and am having problems getting my monitor to stay at 75 hertz. I think the reason is because I am using duel monitors, one from my lap top and one larger one on the desk. I use the two in tandum.
The monitor on my desk is the default. I can set the monitor to 75 hertz but next time I log in it is back to 60 hertz. I set it by going into desktop, proterties, Settings, Advanced, Monitor and selecting 75 hertz explicitely. Setting it to 75 instead of 60 takes away the flicker.
Is there a way to make it stick? If not, is there a macro or something I can do to make setting things explicitly easier or involve less key strokes?
Any help would be appreciated.
If it's an LCD monitor, leave it at 60. If it's a CRT monitor, I don't know what to tell you.
