I can play an audio CD with Winamp, but is there some way to record the track to a file using Win XP facilities or even with Winamp itself? I found the Win recorder, but it seems a bit feeble. It looks like it might record only 60 seconds, and when I tried it win what I was playing with Winamp, it didn't recognize the sound source.
There's WMP, but is there a WMR? Win Media Recorder.

I had a friend who had 17 gigs of wma files he got locked out of
and had to use a third party converter to gain access. What a pain.
