Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi Rock,

I am getting PM Free with two rebates $40 & $20. I also got NSW free with the purchase of NIS which will run out on my OEM version in two days.

PS: Do you think the SFC helped fix my computer?

Thanks again, all you people have helped me a lot in the past and I do value your opinions.

lol..free is good. I have on occasion seen SFC help a problem but usually not. It's good for replenishing the dll cache if something is missing or corrupt which is where Windows File Protection draws if the working files get corrupted. If the problem exists down to the level of the dll cache then SFC will help. . I can't say whether it solved your problem or not. It can't hurt, though. Here is a link to some more, good info, on SFC.
