Hi,
It's a function of the OS, the problem indicates that PSP doesn't support that function, or that it is not set to open that file type.

Is "drag and drop" a function of the operating system or of a program? I
recently installed Paint Shop Pro 8 on my new XP (Media Center) Computer. If
I drag image files from Windows Explorer and drop them onto the PSP desktop
icon, it does not open the program displaying that image. (On my old Win98SE
computer, it did). However, if I drag and drop images onto MS Paint, that
does open the program displaying that image. Is there some setting in the Op
Sys to determine which programs open with drag and drop?
.
