Re: removing user accounts on XP Home

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Paste the following line into the box in Start | Run:

control userpasswords

Then click OK.

control userpasswords2 should NOT be used in XP Home for creating or
removing accounts.

control userpasswords opens the User Accounts applet from the Control Panel.

Start | Settings | Control Panel | User Accounts

Typing: nusrmgr.cpl into the Run box will also open the correct Users
Accounts applet.

How do I remove user accounts on XP Home when there are no users that
show up at the user accounts site accessed through control panel? I
understand that XP home does not have Local users and Groups available
through Computer/Manage.

From Start | Run type in "control userpasswords2" without the quotes,
click ok.
