I found the installer for the 'old' version on my old computer and used it on my new one. Worked fine. Since I was a 'heritage' user already, there was no subscription request. Everything carried on as usual.
Of course I had to uninstall the 'new' version first.

Hi:
I have it installed properly, but when you try to use it then it opens a subscription website. While mine is free,
I see no way around activating MSN Explorer without paying a fee now.
I was wondering if someone knew a way to work around paying this new fee.
Thanks

I have looked for a Newsgroup applicable MSN Explorer, but was unable to find one. So if there is one, I apologize for the posting here.
I have an hotmail email address that I have had for years so a few years back when I installed MSN Explorer from Add/Remove Windows Components I had not trouble in installing and using it. Recently when I did the same on my daughters new computer and also on a friends when I tried to initially setup MSN Explorer for free all the options required signing up with MSN for a monthly charge etc.
Is there anyway to now setup and use MSN Explorer for free? If so, I sure would appreciate knowing how. Both my daughter and friend have Hotmail email accounts.
Thanks
