Task Bar Config

I use my XP machine for running some always on monitoring tasks in my
second monitor, and I've reached the point that I need to adjust the
way that those windows are behaving.

What I need is the ability to either send an arbitrary program to the
system tray or to simply detach it from the task bar. I also need a way
to pin arbitrary windows so they do not minimize or get covered up. Is
there a product / products which can provide this type of behavior? For
the life of me I haven't found any products to do this.
