Run a domain and put the drives in a container and set permissions. In a
workgroup environment (most sommonly used in a home LAN), XP either shares
or doesn't share, it doesn't support selective sharing or passwording.
Alternately, you can zip (compress) folders that you want to limit access
to. Once zipped, you will find an option to password the folder on the file
menu. This is not a great means of security, but may be sufficient for what
you want without having to go to extremes.
