Re: Restart and Logon with Scheduled task

I had to get a new pair of glasses last week to see
things properly. Here is what I found:

Right-click the task / Properties / "Schedule" tab /
locate the drop box called "Schedule Task" / select
"At System Startup".

I didn't see it on there under the "schedule" tab or in its advanced
sttings
under that tab. Im running XP SP2. Thanks for helping though.

If you mean the "Run only if logged in" option i have those disabled
but
the
program doesn't come up in front of the log in screen is it running in
the
background?

I have my computer set up with scheduled task to:

-restart every day at 6 AM
-run disk clean up mondays at 3 AM
-run disk defrag on tues. at 3 AM
-run anti-spy ware software wed. at 3 AM
-run avast anti-virus thurs. at 3 AM

I removed the requirement to have a password to run these task

dont like to have to log on to my home computer. Also if im not

tuesday after an everyday scheduled reboot my computer can still

to run the disk defrag.

I want to have this same setup on my laptop but i need to have a

it for login so my question is:

Is there a way i can schedule a task to restart and logon to my
user
account
or a scheduled task that logs on then runs a program?

You can schedule your tasks to run at boot-up time instead
of logon time.
