Hi,
i have just formatted my hdd and have done a clean install of XP Pro with
all of my required drivers (RAID etc.), but now it won't shutdown. it is a
xp with sp2 oem disc and i didn't have any problems last time i installed it.
Basically what happens is that it hangs on the windows is now shutting down
screen, although since fully updating the system it now goes past that, turns
of the monitor and leaves the pc on. I have read the posts about the
advanced power management stuff and i don't have it in windows and it is
enabled in my BIOS. Any help would be great.
cheers
