Folks:
I would like to download adobe macromedia flash (audio/video) files embedded in various web pages.
So far I have downloaded and installed the latest version of the Firefox browser. Next I did:
Tools >> Page Info >> Media tab >> save as.
I then select the desired download folder. So far it looks that only graphic files are being downloaded rather than (SWF) macromedia flash.
* Just wondering if maybe there is some add-on that I need for fireFox ?
Actually I an working on the pages of a book called "Think & Grow Rich." http://www.angelfire.com/biz7/programsthatpay/tgr.html
Before you save the Web page containing the Flash, you have to actually display the page. Then, when you select Save Page As, be sure to have "Web page, complete" in the "Save as type" area at the bottom of the Save As window. This will save the HTML and then create a subfolder to save all the items used in the Web page (Flash, images, etc). The links in the HTML will be adjusted to point to the subfolder instead of the source server.
It's good that you're using Firefox. I don't know if this works with IE. (It does work with SeaMonkey.)
