Have you tried upping your Temporary Internet files folder size to see if
that would work?
Go to Intetrnet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>General Tab>Settings
Button>move the slider to be bigger and see if that helps. I have seen
where that is set to low and wont allow downloads as you speak of.
Let us know..

WinXP Home, broadband connection via wireless router.
I am trying to download a file from my mobo manufacturer's site (Foxconn)
Small files download fine but the larger ones (22-25Mb) all break part way
through the d/l
a couple of days ago the break was at about 42% and the d/l speed was very
slow.
The file is a zip file.
Today the file breaks at about 73% and the download is about 20% faster -
the first attempt got 18Mb and the second attempt made it to 18.3Mb.
I've tried both IE6 and Mozilla Firefox and I've cleared the cache/history
and temp files etc.
I've tried the UK site and the global site and the same thing happens with
larger files on both sites.
I have a feeling this is simply a problem at the other end that I can do
nothing about but if anyone has any advice I would be very grateful.
