I have a Compaq Presario desktop PC with a 2.8 GHz Intel Celeron Processor,
512 MB ram and 120 GB hard drive. Recently, the computer shut down without
warninga, and when I tried to restart the computer, it said that windows
did
not start successfully, and it asked if I wanted to restart in safe mode,
safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last known good
configuration, or start windows normally. I have tried to restart under
each
method only to receive the black windows screen with the scroll bar, and
then
the computer restarts to the same page as before. I have kept the Norton
Internet Security and Webroot Spy Sweeper up to date on this computer, so
I
don't think it is a worm or virus, but I cannot figure out what to do!
Please Help!!!!
