Now, keep this in mind, I'm not here bashing Linux, I love it as much
as my Windows XP/2003 machines, and I'm also not here bashing Windows
XP.

I might believe that if not for things like claiming that it takes
several hours to do a base install of Fedora.

So what it comes down to is that I did a install of all three distros,
that it took longer than installing XP + Office 2003 + Updates.

You can't change that fact, it did take longer, and all 4 machines were
the exact same hardware, same everything,

You can't change the fact that so many people are able to do a Fedora base
install four times faster than you claim you can. I'm not denying that it
takes YOU four times longer, just saying that if it does then your own
experiences aren't a meaningful indication of what Fedora can do in the
hands of a skilled user.

and installs were as limited as I could make them from options presented.

A skilled user can easily install any window manager necessary to make the
comparison a balanced one. When it was first released, FC5 didn't have
icewm in its repository. It took all of 5 minutes for me to install it
anyway.

All systems started with wiped drives, no partitions, nothing.

Keep telling me it isn't so, but it is, it's simple, and it is
repeatable.

So is dividing by zero.
