If he was any good he would have recommended a backup solution the first
time he repaired your computer. It sounds like you have a bad hard drive.

is gone. This never happened to me with 95 .... so .... I'm
thinking.... why not put 95 on the computer? What is the
downside? I'm a home user doing primarily music, photos, and text
processing.

Find a different repair guy, not one at BIGSTORE USA. This one is
taking the easy way out instead of finding out what's wrong. Can
you boot into Windows at all?
