My Windows xp just died for the 3rd time ... so for the 3rd time I've
taken it to the repair guy ...who says he'll have to reload xp, that my
data can be recovered piecemeal, but that my software is gone. This
never happened to me with 95 .... so .... I'm thinking.... why not put
95 on the computer? What is the downside? I'm a home user doing
primarily music, photos, and text processing.
TIA
Will
Find a different repair guy, not one at BIGSTORE USA. This one is taking the easy way out instead of finding out what's wrong. Can you boot into Windows at all?
