Hi,drive
i have problem with USB Disk recognition, since my network have mapped
in H:. and sometimes when i plugin the USB disk, its drive letter is
?,which
i can't see in explorer .
my question is: how do i asssign a reserved drive letter for USB disk
so
when i plugin it will conflict with mapped network drive.
thanks
You will keep on having this type of problem until you
move your network drive letters to the higher end of
the alphabet.
You can assign a fixed drive letter to a specific USB
device by plugging it in, then clicking Start / Run / diskmgmt.msc.
You can now right-click the USB drive and assign a different
drive letter, e.g. U:.
