I was being a little bit facetious with my comment about QuickTime &
RealPlayer being spyware. But I was serious about myself not having either
one of them.
QuickTime is by Apple Computer Inc.
RealPlayer is by Real, I have no idea who they are, nor do I care.

While waiting for your answer, I went to the "answersthatwork.com" task
library and researched realshed.exe. The long dissertation there
convinced me to "end process" through Task Manager. That did stop the
error messages. However, I am glad to know about the permanent fix you
gave me.
"Real Time" and "Quick" have been on every computer I have ever owned. I
had always supposed they were provided by Microsoft. After reading your
last note, Mr. Vogel, I will immediately remove those 2 problems from my
system.
Thanks again for your help.
