Hi All,
Recently when I browse certain websites, e.g. www.lowyat.net/v2, my IE
will prompt me an error message saying sthg like "Exception unknown
software exception (xxx) at location xxx. Then when I click OK, the IE
will close. I am very frustrated by this error as I can't surf those
websites anymore. The page will just show up for few seconds then the
error comes out and I have no choice to click on OK to close it.
Could anyone please help me to solve this issue?
Check for an invalid entry in your hosts file for those sites
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts, D/Click and chose to open it with
notepad
here is a default host file

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

127.0.0.1 localhost
