Did some cleanup of temp files and other things within a friend's pc, also
uninstalled Norton in favor of another Internet Security Suite.
She now gets messages on certain web sites that she is not authorized to
access them (others she can). I tried the usual, including disabling the
Firewall part of the suite (no diff) , setting privacy to "low" etc. I also
asked her to try resetting popups to "low" and /or "restoring Defaults"
under the Tools-Internet Options-Advanced tab (no results on those yet, as
she hasn't gotten back to me).
Can anyone suggest anything else to try? She is on DSL broadband without
use of a proxy server. she's kinda pissed!
