Re: recreate lost xp user account

Hello,

In order to take back the ownership of the files, you may refer to the following KB article:

How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=308421

I am not too sure about yoru problems with iTunes. You might want to refer to Apple's website or
support forums.

I have XP pro and i just performed a reinstall of it. When i did so,
all of the user accounts were deleted, but their files (such as my
documents) remained. Access is denied to the folders and though i might
be able to find a way around that, some file are linked to the old user
(such as itunes), and moving those files wouldn't accomplish anything.
Is there a way for me to recreate the old account?
