Many many thanks....excellent instructions.......so simple when you know
how!!!!!

Now my only problem is that all my programs and settings etc are under
"administrator" not "John".....any way of transferring/switching them?

e.g. would Abhinav's idea now work? i .e. by switching/changing names.

I haven't tried it yet as I wasn't sure whether or not I would have to
delete the existing "John, before changing "Administrator" to "John".

No problem if I have to, because I have nothing set up on "John" yet.

After, do I actually need to keep Administrator?

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.

A/Cs and be able to switch between them and (ii) restore the full menus on
Task Manager which should open directly with Ctrl Alt Del).
