when i bought my laptop..........its performace was very good...it used to
open windows and files and folders very quik...........now after 4 months
its programs are slowed down and i dont know why my computer is not
working on high pace as it used to be .

i am using internet from cable not from telephone.

Could it be that you're running Windoze XP? That certainly could explain
what you're experiencing as that is very typical for users of this
"operating system". Most users report a slowing down after grinding away on
a XP box for a period of time. Some of this can be explained by the fact
that XP is so easily compromised by malware that can hijack the system and
suck up resources while it works to spew out spam across the Net or spread
malware to other systems. Others will say their systems are "clean" yet
also display this slowdown. It seems that as more and more stuff is added
to Windoze's registry the "operating system" just slows down. Ultimately
the only "fix" is to reinstall from scratch and start fresh and enjoy the
speed that offers until one once again goes through this cycle. It
certainly leads me to wonder what we'll be hearing from Vista users after
they've been running that "operating system" for a period of time.
Especially in view of its far more demanding hardware/resource
requirements. My one XP box is almost unuseable now because it is so slow,
yet it is reported to be "clean" of all malware. My Linux boxes on the
other hand remain as responsive today as they were when the operating
system was first installed. Even on boxes with lesser hardware and even
though they run far more services and processes than my XP box.
Fortunately, I have little need to use that XP box, so I can live with this
Windoze eXPerience. :-)
