As I mentioned, as far as I know, my boot.ini is OK. Both lines, as quoted above, indicate only 1 partition. If someone who actually understands this stuff sees there is something irregular with mine, I would like to learn of it.

The Rx offered further along the page requires booting from the CD to access Recovery Console. As I mentioned above; this is not an option for my OEM.

This one is a ‘poser’; eh?
