I have a compaq 7594 celeron computer with xp sp2.
A few weeks back it wouldn't boot and found the cpu
fan caked with dust and was not operating and felt that
I had cooked the cpu.
A friend gave me a A7V micro atx motherboard and
a 4.3 gb hard drive just to test which installed and
booted perferctly. I changed over to my 30 gb hard
drive and just receive a disk read error message.
Entering into bios setup, it recognizes the hard drive
but just wont boot from it. I dont want to loose all my
work so I would like to try to get this hd working.
Any suggestions please.
