I was wondering if we could do a full system/file backup of
workstations from a server instead? We have a file server, yes. But
what we need right now is a means to get a workstation up and running
if in case it breaks down. Cloning the drive except that this would be
done via a server.
No data should be saved locally on workstations. Image the workstations
and the server with something like Acronis TrueImage. Acronis makes
quite a few useful programs for the enterprise. Keep images on
additional server hard drives and/or external hard drives.
