What I'm actually doing, trying to save time, and not go into the admin log
on, but instead use the user log on. Here is what I have to do. Find a file,
that I can open in notepad, make one letter change, save it, and that's all.
One several computers, it will not let me save the file, because of no admin
rights to that file. I wonder now, if I can open the file as a admin,
without logging of, save the change, and get out then. I wonder if the "run
as" would work, or if there is another way to get around that. I of course
have the admin rights, have the log on and password......Thanks.......Peter

Hold down your SHIFT key and right click...you should get a Run As
option.

I'm wondering if there is a way for instance, when I have to save a
file,
and I'm using the users log-in, where I can say run this task as a admin
user., and then it let's me save the file. I hope I made myself clear.
I'm
glad to explain it more. I always appreciate the help here in this NG,
