Re: Ad Aware SE 1.06

I am also having problems in one computer with Ad-aware 1.06r1, when
performing a system scan it always freezes at the same file:
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs...
so we are unable to make the scan.
We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it again, but the problem
persists. It used to work properly.
The rest of the computers at home have this program and there is no problem
with it.

Your help would be very much appreciate it.

uninstall 1.06 but it then said I had to uninstall 1.06 manually which I
can't do. I may be wrong but I suspect that 1.06 may be at the root of my
problems so if I could only uninstall that maybe all my problems would be
solved.

I have even tried System Mechanic 5 but that doesn't work any more than
the
standard add/remove programs does.

Please advise.

Try reinstalling 1.05 again. When you are updating to 1.06 you don't
have
to
uninstall the old version, it's done automatically with your consent.
