For some strange reason my CD drive keeps opening and closing by
itself. This happens whether there is a disc inside or not.
Anyone know what is causing this?
A long time ago this was symptomatic of trojan infection, but I very
much doubt that is your issue now as all modern antivirus programs
would have protected you from this ancient malware.
The usual reason for your symptoms is that the drive is failing. Just
replace it.
