Re: Program Removal

The horse is out of the barn on this, but sometimes it's best to see if the
program has an uninstall option before you use the add/remove.
But, you can use the xp search tool, just type in the program name in both
fields and delete any entries that it finds. However, Mike's suggestion is a
also a good way to go.

I successfully(somewhat) uninstalled two programs from my PC using the
add/remove programs feature in control panel yet, both programs still show
in
the add/remove area of control panel>add remove programs. When I click on
them to unstall again, I am presented with an error message. I have
searched the registry and not able to find a reference to keywords of the
program name. What else can I do? Is there a specific area in registry
or
otherwise I should be looking?

Thank you.
