From my experience, a lot of FTP problems are caused by incorrectlyselecting Passive Mode.....PASV. Try turning that off first.
From the log below it seems like the client keeps trying passive mode,even after an....

I am so frustrated.
I have a new Windows Xp Home ed computer and can no longer ftp.
I have sp2 with windows firewall, and I am also running Norton.
When I try to upload I get a 550 error, access denied.
I have turned all firewalls off and still no success.
In the past, on other computers, I could upload to my ftp site using a
