chkdsk always runs when starting windows xp pro sp2..no matter how sutdown is done..Help

Hi,

on my pc..the chkdsk always runs when i start my pc..no matter how i
shutdown the pc..

So shutting down from shutdown option also shows the chk dsk at all
times...at startup

on chkdsk process..it never finds any error on the partition ..

The partition on which it checks is generally other that the system
partition..

Any solution will be appreciated..
