Hello Matthew,
It's a Comcast broadband "always-on" connection.

What type of internet connection does she have? (dial up, always on,
etc...)

Hi all,
I promised my niece that I'd fix the problem she is having on her
family's two computers. Somehow she has changed settings on both
computers so that, when she uses her own account, she can not get onto
the Internet, send IM's, etc.
If she uses the other user accounts that are set up on each PC -- both
are running XP home with SP2 -- there is no problem with getting on the
Web.
Is there some setting that she could have inadvertently changed that is
causing this problem, and how would I fix it?
Alternately, if it would be easier to copy a profile from one of the
other "Web-enabled" user accounts, how would I go about doing this?
Thanks for your input and help.
Alan
