I am using Windows XP Professional.

I have problems with searching files.

After I enter file name in windows search and click 'Search', the window
simply becomes 'Not Responding' There seems to be no activity, no
animation
and no results.

What is the problem?

Reinstalling Windows may fix the problem but I want to know whether there
is
any other way before I go for a reinstall.
